We are well into the planning of this big weekend which follows our record setting year of 2010 for the 40th anniversary celebrations.
The attendance of Stags at Bronte Park British Car Day just keeps getting larger each year with 37 last year (see the Stag 40th event on this site to get a flavor of what took place in 2010). Where else will you get to see so many of these beauties this side of the Atlantic in one place at the same time! Not only that, I guarantee the camaraderie during this weekend will amaze you. We already have a number of entries even at this early date so hope we can count on you too. Our group of volunteers is already busy with a program. So, mark your calendars for September 15th thru 18th 2011.

The format will be much the same as past years, we have reservations in the same hotel in Burlington as we used last year, The Admiral Inn, Billings Court, Burlington. It is close to the South Service Drive at the intersection of the QEW and Walker’s Line, southwest corner of the intersection. This was the first year we had used this hotel and it turned out very popular with attendees. The room rate is $75 plus tax per night including a hot breakfast of eggs, bacon etc. There is no charge for parking and the cars are right outside the hotel rooms. Telephone #905-639-4780 Call to make your reservations
Dinner Friday night as a group is at Jake's Grill & Oyster House, a short walk from the hotel so no concerns about drinking and driving. Saturday evening the dinner will be in the Admiral’s Inn banquet room, so just a short stroll from your room there.
We will have driving activities for the Friday and Saturday with some picturesque and interesting tours. Besides joining a large group of Stags you will have the opportunity to attend what is probably the largest British car show in North America. Each year amazes me with the rare models of vehicles that appear, many I have not seen for many years. Check this site for last year’s activities, you will find we had a great time.
