British cars were sold here as shown in a couple ads from the Whitehorse Star of April 1964. The Austin ad is a postcard ad from Toronto.
The papers were found many years ago when I was wandering around in the bush and came across an abandoned cabin, roof collapsed with the papers inside.
As a resident of Toronto in the 1960's all the dealers mentioned were familiar to me, especially Kovac Motors on Liard Drive as I worked at the CIBC branch on the opposite corner.
Just up the street was Comstock Construction. Those of you of a certain age will remember them being heavily involved with Ford racing and rallying programs using American and English Ford products.
