I got the truck for my Dad back around 1998 before he passed away in 1999, I put it away in an Ajax warehouse for storage for 10 years. I was told it was a 1933 Morris but in researching it appears to be 1926 - 1930 in age.

It started life as a sedan in Malta and during the war got turned into a truck used as an ambulance. It has been in an Alec Guiness film (haven't found out which one yet) and was flown to Canada from England on Wardair in the 80's.

I put it up for sale last year with no takers but my daughter Jennifer decided she wanted to restore it, so here we go...another restoration. It doesn't run at the moment but I am on the hunt for a replacement carb for it.

It cleaned up ok but really should be stripped and properly restored. Wish us luck!

Dave Jackson had been a volunteer on the Halifax restoration project and spent many hours in their workshop.
He was a recreational pilot many years ago. Sticks to rebuilding SU carbs and British car transmissions now from his home.
Dave Lyon (in the picture) is checking out some of the work.
