October 14th 2012
British Car Council Toy Drive 2012

Days like this don't come in mid October, but today was special. This was the day for gathering together for a cause. Sixty or more of us were there, with somewhere around 30 cars. Each had a donation. It was the resurrection of the British Car Council Toy Run!

The morning started out with coffee and doughnuts, and a tour arranged by Paul Dullaert (getting arrested below).

There was lunch with soup, roll, coffee or tea, and a cupcake or left-over doughnut. There was also musical accompaniment from the Oakville Celtic Fiddle Orchestra That just tied a bow on the event.

The highlight of the afternoon was the gathering at the Country Heritage Park's Ford Garage for a promotional picture. Here there was meticulous work by Kevin "Crash" Corrigan to get us all arranged. Re-arranging a bit we put Mike Sweeney's Jaguar in front of Kevin's Landrover. You can't see Sweeney's and can only see the top of Corrigan's Landie.

Check out the panorama! And now for some more of the day.

Bugsy. Bugsy did not want to move from this place. I am wondering if driving with my headlights on was too much for the generator.
